Again, for the sake of completeness, here is a nice scan (courtesy of Zang) of Karen's appearance in the SE on the Second 15 Years of PMs. Only the text is new, but how can any fan of Karen get enough versions of this photo? For a bonus, Zang photo-shopped a version of the photo. It may be as close as we'll ever get to an unairbrushed version. Wish we could see the original as Karen intended it. She went all out for us in this one.

P.S. -- I think I've fixed all the broken ImageVenue links in my posts in this thread and in Karen's discussion thread, but if you find missing photos, please send me a PM and I'll get to them. I discovered that IV is still not reliable. Several photos I reloaded yesterday or the day before have disappeared again, so I have at least one more repair to do. We'll also have to think about repairing other posts on Karen's threads, if the posters are no longer active on VEF. I hope our shrine to Karen doesn't go to rack and ruin because of hackers and bad servers.

Thanks to a VEF member who found an album of photos on flickr of Karen's acrobatic troupe, Cirque Du Superior, at a consumer electronics show in Las Vegas. The web address for the album is:

I hope someone can figure out how to get higher resolution photos of Karen's performance, either via Flickr or the photographer (Wonderdog777). I'm not too handy on the web!

I hadn't visited the website recently that Karen and her spouse maintain for their acrobatic business. It's impressive, to say the least, to see all they've accomplished and to see a greater number of pictures of the acrobatic skills at which they and their colleagues excel. I think I found a picture of Karen performing with her husband. If you think I'm wrong about that, let me know, but I'm pretty sure it's Karen.

I also learned in my recent search that Karen and her husband were inducted into the World Acrobatic Society Hall of Fame in 2009. The WAS announced her induction on this webpage:

The society posted a nice picture of Karen with her fellow inductees.

The winter 2009 WAS newsletter (available in a PDF elsewhere on the WAS site) contains another small picture of Karen and her husband, but it's low res, so I thought I'd leave it to others to try to make a decent copy of it, if that's possible.

Great to see Karen and her spouse have such great success in their lives. I know that we all wish them the best. I'm delighted that they've done so well.

Thanks to Tumbler and Instagram--and to Kevin and Greg--we have a nice photo of Karen on a publicity stop.
