Some wonderful posts of wonderful girls breinging back so many - er - well you know but? When the photographers took the photos during the sessions they must have, like I did at the Glamour sessions I attended at our local Photographic Club, taken a great many more shots than we see prints of. Anyone any idea of where the negatives went to?

I know Ken Howard (best known for his work with Nicola Taylor and Marie Graham) destroyed all his negatives in later years. One of the London photographers, whose name escapes me, lost his negatives in a house fire. As for the the rest - who knows...

Shame really when you think of all the time trouble and effort put onto them but back then we, we'll certainly me, had no idea how 'collectable' as well as memorable those items were. Like probably most other amateur 'Glamour' photographers mine as well as others have either lost or destroyed our negatives. Thanks for the info Knickers as well as the posts.

I suppose we all take the things we enjoy for granted, then when they're gone and, after a good few years have passed, we begin to realise their true worth. I kept all my original Toco publications and a couple of years ago decided to sell them via the internet. I was amazed (and pleased) at the prices they achieved on Ebay. I have to say however, looking at the digital images on computer isn't quite the same as turning the pages of those pocket sized mags...

Brilliant postings Nick! There are so many girls I remember, but a lot I don't. I didn't see or buy the later ToCo magazines, as by the late 1960s I was married. Nicola and Marie seemed to dominate the later years as whenever I browsed the top shelf in my local newsagent and flicked through Spick and Span they seemed omnipresent. I still prefer the Bearsden girls it must be said. The best of a beautiful bunch was Ruth, a dark haired lassie with a cute smile and a shapely bod!

Time for some Marie Graham. These images were originally posted by Cheech and Manowar. Thanks chaps! As we all know, Marie's pal, Nicola never removed her bra for the Toco camera, but Marie did. Does that signify a closer relationship with photographer Ken Howard? There has been much speculation as to whether Nicola Taylor was Ken's wife. I think that it was possibly Marie who was wed to Ken. Hope you enjoy, Hydon. Nick
