Imagehost Problems, Imagebam, Imagevenue, PimpAndHost, PixHost, ImgBox etc - Page 161

OK, I fixed it, but I had to downgrade to windows 8.1 and install the unsigned version of IHG, because windows 10 didn't let me do it, plus upgrade to the latest FF

Maybe this is not the right place for this,but couldn´t find it anywhere.
Some members are now uploading pics that are 8000-10000px in size.
I mainly use FF,and damn if I can see any of the larger pics.
Since it´s regardless of whatever imagehost they use,I presume that it´s either something with FF,or in my computer that I have to change?
If anyone have a clue,I would be very grateful.

Working with Linux Mint 17.2 - Firefox doesn't show Imagebam, Pimp & Host etc..
After changing to alternative browsers like SeaMonkey and Midori all works fine !

Friday night 1/15/16 and imgbox is experiencing one of their long overdue bellyaches. Their "false error" problem is back causing only the codes to appear instead of the pics. (Tried uploading 20 pics and only 10 uploaded successfully)
I notified Flo via an email and hopefully all will be remedied soon.

(Saturday afternoon) For you imgbox users they seem to be up and running again. I tried uploading a few posts and it worked fine for me.

It looks like the imagebam problem of oversized thumbnails is back. I just found some posts from 2009 where it happened.

Not a problem, but just wanted to give a heads up to all those that are using SomeImage. If you haven't yet seen it, the admin is looking for input on how to make the host better. The link to their forum, and all the pertinent info can be found here.

Thanks for the heads-up, my friend. I'll check the forum. I'm really hoping that they'll adjust the thumbnail options and add an editing option for galleries.

I had spoken to the admin over there some time ago about that very thing. I told him a 180x180 option like Imagbam's would be fantastic. Within a few days they had added the new options, but as you know, their 180x180 option still crops the images.

Perhaps, if a few more people roust them up about it, they'll fix the issue.
