Died: May 12, 1980 (age 69) in New York City, New York, USA http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0744917/ In such early talkies as Madame Satan, Animal Crackers, and Love Parade, she nearly ruined her career(and life) with alcoholism...but beat the battle with the bottle and made a comeback many years later...wrote the autobiography, "I'll Cry Tomorrow" and was portrayed by Susan Hayward in the film of the same name. Here is a clip of her in the 1933 film Take a Chance that I snagged from youtube. short clip(and I tried zooming out at first to see how the quality looks, I have it both ways in clip) but a bit amazing to me! I knew she could sing,(Sound is screwed up, just turn off) but she is flat out sexy doing a striptease! I need to find this film to see if this is the only sexy scene of her.
