Taste is one thing-nutritional value something else again-do not conflate the two

I figure whatever you eat is going to feel pain when you kill it, plants included. Vegetarians remind me of lesbeans and their diLos, strap-on and other toys. They trying to replace what the are sacrificing. They claim to not miss meat but nine times out of ten they mention how what they are making is just like meat like a jilted lover that never can get over their existence so the obsess over them. Just an observation

There are several ways to be a vegan. I even think that eating "unfertilized" eggs do not create pain to the egg. The problem is how are treated the hens. I'm myself not an extremist. I don't believe in a real vegan world, apart if you are like the Jaïns, ready to die by weaknesses. But even like this, I do not understand why Jaïns get children... But that's a philosophical story. Sadly in my point of view, our societies don't treat well enough the animals that they eat. And there is a huge form of paranoïa in the behaviour of a lot of people. |

It was my first preoccupation when I decided to stop to consume diary products. As vegetarian I never had any nutritional trouble. I gave my blood every year for transfusions. And according to the law, if I had strong deficiencies or illnesses, the medical staff had to contact me. They never did. As vegan, I decided to take B12 supplementation even if I don't feel any symptoms. But I already took iron and magnesium supplementations when I sometimes was very tired about 20 years ago when I was used to bicycle 10'000 km per year in agreement with my doctor. |

Remember seeds and fruits come from a plant. If someone yanked off your nuts and ate them would it hurt? Are there abuses in the food Industry? No doubt. Your dietary choices can only be made from the best information possible. Vegans in the belief of meat being evil may be setting themselves up to be making worse choices,

Human beings have survived due to eating meat as have other animals.
When Lions and Tigers decide to become Farmers I will think about not eating meat for a week. Last edited by tamsmith; July 9th, 2017 at 09:49 PM.. Reason: Spelling |

Fruits (and seeds) are taken when they are ready to be taken. Just before to fall on the floor, like a good ejaculation. I don't really think that killing is a bad thing, as long as we kill them well and quick. I believe more that imposing a poor quality of life is evil. Look how we treat porks, animals as clever (or maybe more according German researches) than dogs.... etc.... I have my opinion about ethics and life. I don't believe that they are compatible together. But that's not the question of this topic. |

You think ethics, universe, theories, philosophies... Maybe they think too, but until now, they didn't show it. Would you compare yourself to a wasp or a worm. In some cases you can, in others you can believe that you get some skills that other animals don't get. |
