Damien Green has paid a pretty hefty price for his stupidity. Having this stuff on his work PC was not what you expect from someone in his position and showed a real lack of common sense.

Plod on the other hand, has rather a lot to answer for. Not just for this, but the "fit-up" style rape cases and behaviour of the Crown Persecution Service, which leaves a great deal to be desired. Okay, times are tight for the police, they can't do everything, but there has been a growing lack of professionalism in recent times, well pre-dating the Cliff Richards nonsense.

This week, I read a really unpleasant story about a 13 year old boy who was detained by police for receiving a selfie from some teenage girl showing her partly undressed. Three police cars turned up at the kid's house to take him away.

Maybe the old style of Dixon of Dock Green policing is long gone, but that doesn't mean everything should be allowed to go to shit and we simply adopt a Mexican approach to law and order - IMHO!

They do not usually show such blatant contempt for the UN and everything it is supposed to stand for, I have one secretary and one adviser from the US, and they are both horrified!

Catalonia election: Separatist parties keep their majority

Catalan separatist parties are on track to win most seats in the new regional parliament, setting the stage for more confrontation with Spain's government.

However the Citizens party, which wants Catalonia to remain a semi-autonomous part of Spain, is the biggest party.

As a result, it is unclear who will be given the right to form a government.

The Madrid government stripped Catalonia of its autonomy and called the election after declaring an October independence referendum illegal.

With more than 95% of votes counted, Citizens (Cs) had 25%, winning 36 seats in the 135-seat chamber.

But the pro-independence parties Together for Catalonia, Republican Left of Catalonia and Popular Unity were together on course to win a total of 70 seats, giving them a majority.

Yes, that's sad - but it's up to the US people to finish it.

Not enough of the usual daily intellectual diarrhoea of "The Toupee"; also the UN - Ambassador Nikki Haley said today: "..... the people in the US want us (the US-government) to settle our embassy in

My Palestinian neighbor would beg to differ with you. The people in the US really don't matter in this as much as the money does. The money wanted the embassy to be in Jerusalem so now the embassy ends up in Jerusalem. I'm going to let Noam explain this for me as he so eloquently does.
