Ok she's no great looker now, but she is 68. In her younger days she wasn't too bad. She is due some respect though as during her time with the radical sixties magazine Oz, she was involved in Britains longest obscenity trial, under the charge of 'intent to debauch and corrupt the morals of children and other young persons and to arouse and implant in their minds lustful and perverted ideas'.

I would say that is indeed one.

I have a feeling the photo that famously pissed her off was a large version of the photo you first posted because I remember reading an interview where she said they published a close-up crotch shot of her, which fits your first photo better.



She complained that she was duped by the editors of SUCK into doing the shoot - she was told that all contributors to the magazine would have a pornographic photo of themselves published with their article. In reality nobody else did.

Great kudos for finding the arse-in-the air shot, which suggests that more of the set was printed than she let on, and that somewhere in a drawer in Holland is a full set of dusty negs featuring Dr Greer in full pouting minge mode.

A few years ago I saw a documentary about Germain Greer. She explained the pose used for this picture. The purpose was to show her fully nude, while at the same time making it impossible to make a softer version of it. They didn't want some magazine to make a crop with just her face and breasts for example.
She wanted a photo that showed her vagina and anus, but not her breasts. So that's why it turned into this somewhat unusual pose.
