Worse than the Oakland Raiders? Is that even possible?

scoundrel,
Well, considering they're both lost every game I guess ones as bad as the other. Probably best not to bet on either, even if they're at home. Just checked both of their schedules to see if they played each other (who would you pick then?) but they don't. And I don't really see any teams on the schedules where either team would be favored. Now, having said that, I don't think either team will go winless this year. Thats pretty rare. But who will they beat? Who knows. It will probably be a fluke. |

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yItnEVoD0VQ When you consider that Rugby League is less specialised than American football. The position he plays in RL (fullback) require him to do a combination of kr/pr halfback work, and free safety when defending. Since my last post, I've heard radio grabs of Pete Carroll is aware if him. The more I think about it now. Of all the guys that play professional sport in Australia, he is one of two guys off the top of my head, that have the all round athletic ability to make a serious attempt like this. The other is a guy named Greg Inglis. But unlike Jarryd, Greg hasn't thought to actually do it. Last edited by Motorboater; October 17th, 2014 at 11:31 AM.. |

Motorboater,
Quote:
The guy seems fast, but is he really that much faster than everyone else? I'm not sure if he'd make a good kick returner here or not. Most of those guys in American football are kind of small (by NFL standards) and very fast (better to slip through the outstretched arms of potential tacklers). He's definitely tough. But I think anyone playing that game would have to be tough (no pads). He doesn't "seem" to be all that tall so wide receiver might not be his position (but, then again, look at Jordy Nelson, not all that tall either). Quote:
Will be interesting to watch. If he has the skills there are plenty of teams who would be interested. I guess if I were him I'd start in Oakland or Jacksonville. Both of those teams need lots of help immediately. Not really the time of year to walk on (thats usually done in the spring or early summer) but who knows. If he's really that good he should be able to get a job fairly easily with a bad team. Might be hard with the Seahawks as they don't seem to be missing a lot of pieces. But, you never know. |

Making him a moderator would've been too harsh.

Supposedly the Seahawks couldn't wait to get Harvin back all well and hale. To trade him now after what they originally gave up for him is insane, especially after only ten games played. UNLESS the Seahawks know something no one else does.

I've heard rumors that Harvin was a cancer in the locker room, but I'll pass the mic to my brother Keefriff, the would be Oracle of Enlightenment on those rumors since the Purple actually drafted him. It's a great pick up for the Jets, although a little too late. They gave up a conditional 4th round draft pick for a potential impact player on special teams & in the passing game, albeit a player with a history of concussions. None of his contract is guaranteed after this year though. Seattle gets cap room moving forward, to resign Russell Wilson. It's a no-brainer on both sides in my opinion. They really should hand him his paycheck though. If they mail it to him, he might get a concussion while opening the envelope. C'mon man...I hate the Jets. You have to let me get just 1 joke in. |
