Wither Lonzo? Brooklyn? Sacto? Memphis? Vilnius? Anybody interested in Big Baller Brand merchandise? .451 FT% is ludicrous. Dan Gilbert "gets his team back." It could be worse. Anthony Bennett had a nice year in the G league for the Maine Red Claws and can be signed for the minimum. I hear Andrew Wiggins can be had cheaply from the T-wolves, too. And there is always Tyreke Evans. |

Wait.... How can you take the ball from a failed field goal and run it back like a punt return?
We have seen 1000's of field goals and point after and why no one from the non kicking team ever stood in the end zone before - waiting to catch the ball if the field goal is no good and try to run it back for a TD? At least in all the NFL football games I've seen in 40 years, I have never seen this before. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qc2ze10gl28 |

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdWsp8WAzgM I also vaguely recall one or two others, I think involving Pitt and maybe Wash. I definitely remember the Auburn one in college. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HqIBNX0CXDc If the ball remains in-bounds, the ball is still in play just like on punts and kick-offs. It's much more rare since goalposts were moved back from goal-line to back of end zone. |

We seen long field goal attempts (over 50 yards) before so how come there is not always someone from the non kicking team in the end zone waiting for it?
I don't watch college football, I am not aware of the Auburn one. But this is the first time I've seen this play happen. The SD vs MINN one - two teams I don't ever watch or follow. Guess these kind of plays (and attempts at it) are very rare. |
