Chocolate milk and dill pickle chips? Liverwurst, sure, but dill pickle chips? Disgusting.

Another regret involving a girl... but this time it's what I Didn't Do...
We grew up together as children, in our neighborhood. She was fun and happy as a little girl, even liked to get naked in front of me (No, VEF friends, I was too young too). And over the years she grew into a tanned, shapely beauty. Believe me, I noticed, but each of us had our own friends, interests, and lives by then. Years later she and her family attended my brother's wedding. I was looking as trim and tanned as I ever would, I guess, and she was as spectacular as I remembered. When we spoke at the wedding reception she looked at me and said she hoped I'd save her a dance. But I was stupid- I spent the evening chasing a bubblehead from my church who didn't like me like I liked her. So I blew off that wonderful offer from that spectacular girl from my childhood. My parents owned a beach house at the time, and I think that if I had had that dance, I would have asked that spectacular girl to spend a day at the beach house. And she would have accepted. And we would have gotten closer. And the sex would have been amazing (at least for me!). Wow, what might have been. So that's my regret of the day. |

Your Regret Of The Day
Watching yet another ludicrous episode of ,
In my defense though by the end of the second season I resolved to keep plodding on with twitchy eyed determination. As disliked so many of the characters in the show by that point I wanted to see them snuff it. Which hopefully means by the (Yaaay) last episode of this fourth final season they`ll be nobody left alive

There's no literacy like semi-literacy
I regret calling the national 800-number to order a 'double artichoke' pizza from the franchise parlor down the street. Should have known better when the person on the line told me artichoke isn't one of their available toppings. Had to remind her I'm in California (home of the 'Artichoke Capital of the World', Castroville) where every pizza restaurant features artichokes. She eventually relented (with me stupidly assuming she complied by writing in my special 'California' topping).
When I arrive to pick up my pie, they proudly present me with my 'double anchovy' pizza. I explain that I ordered double artichoke. They apologize and offer the pizza to me for free. I have to decline because single anchovy is far too salty already (via the American canned variety). So I sit and wait for a new pie and swear off their toll-free line for evermore. Is semi-literacy the disability du jour? Or am I just a demanding, insensitive, salt-averse fussbudget? |

Crimes against cucumbers

1) 2-Buck Chuck by Charles Shaw (2-Dollar-a-bottle wine without a twist top) 2) Pickle-flavored potato chips She's otherwise a reasonably classy lady, I assure you (and no, she's not pregnant again...she wouldn't let me). |
