Why/how did we choose our nicknames? - Page 34

There was a kids show back in the early 90s called "Press Gang" (on ITV in the UK).

Dexter is the first name of the male actor on that show.

Day is the last name of the female character on the show.

I fancied her like mad!! And basically grew up with her in mind as my 'ideal woman' and have tended to lust after - or get involved with - women who look a bit like her

Looks like I missed this thread when I was going through the complete list of over 2500 threads in General News and Discussion almost two years ago. My nickname or username as it is called now came from the fact that I used to be an avid hiker. Between 1997 and 2005 I hiked 223 trails in 11 counties in Northeastern Illinois. When I would come back to work on Monday my workmates would always like to hear about what trail(s) I hiked over the weekend. After a few years some of them started to call me The Trailmaster, and one worker from Russia called me Master Trailer. So when became a member of VEF I just chose trailmaster and it was available.
