Thanks, W_S...
After posting my question, some research revealed a website with samples from the soundtrack... I think the music of interest was labeled "bonus" material. There were a couple of tracks that sounded really nice. If you decide to upload any of it, that would be great! Again, thank you |

Hey all, sorry I've been a bit quiet, been setting up my home recording studio, so will hopefully be starting work on some recordings of my own! Also, been on the hunt for the tracks played on The Great British Striptease. According to the film, the band playing the songs is The Jack Dorsey Orchestra. Sadly, not many recordings by them exist! Anyone else got some leads?

Hey W_S...
I have limited resources compared to what you are capable of, but I will try to help. I would suggest asking S_i, but I imagine you've already done that. I've done a bit of research today. You are certainly correct ... The Jack Dorsey Orchestra just doesn't come up much in searches. I found a couple of stand-alone videos of performances from the documentary, but the video quality was horrible and the audio was even worse! Never the less, searching continues... |

I was going back through some of the older pages in the thread again...
I believe it was Giacson that mentioned a tune on the High Crimes soundtrack called "Stripper Bar Groove"? I've been searching for it for a few days now and can't even find an mp3 sample of it. Sounds like what we like... Can anyone provide any info on this one? |

Kinda dropped the ball on this one...
After posting the Joan Collins striptease in the Traditional Striptease link ... I realized I never posted the music in audio only form here. This was passed on to me from S_i. It is "Black Stockings" from David Lindup. Enjoy... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B_pKmEoIpCo While I'm at it, I want to share this one also... This was posted by DaveLH on YT last year. Not sure who the girl in this routine is, but the music is the same used by Suzanne Pleshette in her striptease scene in The Invaders "The Mutation" episode. Just a little bit of background noise. Enjoy... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=THwPqK6Ej-U Last edited by giveittome; February 19th, 2017 at 04:02 PM.. Reason: add content |

I remembered where I have heard that music I mentioned earlier (german/French thing) it is in the erotic film soundtrack of "Secrets of a Chambermaid" You can find it on you tube and it is around the 18min mark and later around 56mins. I have no idea who plays it but it sounds quite old and the music supervisor on the film was Nicholas Rivera but so far I've not found it so you will have to wait for a better version from my tape recording. I'd say you will enjoy the film though.
