We have the "What annoys you" thread and others where you can vent your spleen, but we need a little bit of calm around here!

What are the little things in life that makes all the crap we go through in life bearable?

Yesterday I had to put some petrol in the car. I knew beforehand that I was going to put in £35 worth of fuel.

When I stopped the flow of fuel, the counter read £35.00 exactly!

That made me say "Yes!" under my breath!

Music.

Rock has been an important part of my life for close on 30 years now. I have no musical ability myself - can't play any instruments and my singing would frighten the average x-factor judge, but music is what tends to lift my spirits and cheer me. Whenever I go out I have my 20gb mp3 player on the go, when I'm on my PC working or internet browsing Winamp is on. Got around 80,000 mp3s ranging from Elton John to Slayer.

Stopped at my normal coffee shop this morning for a coffee and muffin. They gave me my muffin but told me they had to brew a fresh pot of coffee and asked me if I wouldn't mind waiting. I told them no problem. As I had to wait, they gave me my coffee for free and didn't charge me for the muffin.

As Charlie Sheen would say, "Winning!"
