So I'm just curious -- Are they any others here who sometimes hear really hot striptease music in a movie, but it's half-drowned out by dialogue, applause, cat-calls, etc., and you wish there was OST version of it somewhere but there isn't?
Some examples I can name: The Night They Raided Minsky's (Britt Ekland's climatic title scene) Kill Cruise (Elizabeth Hurley's strip about 15 minutes in) Blaze (Lolita Davidovich's first strip near the beginning) Kisses for My President (Night club scene with stripper Beverly Powers, of "Breakfast at Tiffany's" fame) And yes, I'm asking if anyone by ANY chance has any leads, though I'm not hopeful...) |

There was a Blaze OST, but I can't find a digital version so I can't check if the striptease tune you mentioned is on it or not.
https://www.discogs.com/Various-Blaz.../master/475404 Here is Ms. Davidovich strutting her stuff for those that don't know it (you will need to sign in to YT as it has been flagged as "adults only". https://youtu.be/vtfMddqtfas?list=PL...uGHU4a0R0RDs0g |

Of course!
Stripper's Theme - Peter Rogers - Carry On Behind, Carry On Emmanuelle, Doctor In Trouble. Zita's Theme (Crumpet Voluntary) - Roy Budd/Jack Fishman - Steptoe And Son The Movie Stripper Music - John Cameron - World of Eddie Weary Pamela Rodgers' Strip Scene - Val Johns - The Big Cube Can't think of any others off the top of my head, but hopefully this info will inspire! A good piece of music for those of you who get off on percussion (DaveLH I am talking to you ).
Sadly no actual strip, although you can let your imagination run riot. https://youtu.be/iK7PxUH4crM?list=PL...KgYcnWPDi&t=54 *Edit* The track is called "Birth of the Blues" by Al Hirt. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZ2bRcCaAoo Last edited by Stroking_it; March 16th, 2019 at 11:02 AM.. |

Singin' and Strippin'
Forget if I've posed this question before, but if a stripper sings while she strips, what song would you want her to sing?

Unless my addled brain deceives me, this absolute gem hasn't come to the attention of the collective yet
It was first uploaded in 2015 and again last month, which is when a chance YT search found it. The combined uploads still have less than 200 views! Check it out. I think its about as close to perfect as I have found yet for an "off the shelf" track. My one criticism is the inclusion of "New York, New York" as the penultimate song in the medley - a bit of a passion killer for me, personally. But the arrangement of the tracks by Burt DeVillers are absolutely delicious. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ULdZN2cYwQY |

Can anyone ID the music in the background of this clip? There's too much talking over it for Shazam to do its thing.
https://youtu.be/e-K6SG2-7ms?t=550 Never heard of this series myself, but its the typical 70's British comedy that was bound to feature a strip club at some point Don't get too excited - there's no actual strip, just a tantalising hint of music. |
