The confirmed cases of incest I have seen generally occur impoverished and isolated families -- geographically and/or socially. Families that are poor and excluded for multiple generations often lose perspective of "normal" and "acceptable" behavior.

What makes it worse is when the community finds out you are one of the Smiths or one of the Joneses, you you get ostracized. This leads to a retreat back into your clan, which exacerbates the problems of insularity in a vicious cycle.

Anyway, I know I'm off-topic, but that's my POV.

There is definitely a market for REAL incest porn, but as earlier posts point out, there is more likely a dearth of REAL families who want to perform incest on camera.

My guess is a lot of viewers seeking REAL incest porn are like many seeking other kinds of taboo subjects. They don't want to do that sort of thing themselves. They only want the thrill of seeing it.

I agree with an earlier poster who said even among "consenting adults" who are willing to do incest porn, there is likely to be a history of child abuse. So, if you can live that, I guess you can watch bud and sis making whoopie.

And of course it isn't incest to merely see your sister nude, whether it is in the flesh or in photography. It isn't even incest if you become aroused. If it's solicited and habitual, strong intervention may be warranted, but without contact, I wouldn't call it incest. There is such a thing called "Covert Incest," which includes things like voyeurism and intrafamilial dirty talk. However, I think there is a sharp line between the covert and the overt.

Most any human trait is universal. Reporting and discovery might be very very different.
For instance the poor used to get arrested for .1 grams of cocaine all the time. 1000's of cases.
Yet most clubs in big cities had white affluent females in the restroom with baggies of large amounts of cocaine. The latter is not reported b/c its not discovered.


Id almost venture to guess that incest is more prevalent in affluent communities. The power dynamic that got them where they are persists.

Thats just guessing.


I used to read pysch journals when I took study breaks in college. I used to study at the medical library b/c it was close to home. Tons of accounts. I never finished reading the accounts. This was in many different journal publications.

Add that to instances in work and in people I know there are a lot of instances of incest. Most go unreported. Family secrets that never make it out.


Agreed most like the thrill of the naughty. Rape porn is popular with women but most dont want to actually be raped.


Those doing actual acts were abused? Probably. But that goes to an going culture.

Most of us without knowing it have a brush with this. Well the boys anyway. Young boys are fascinated by boobs. Course thats when the door is locked and no more changing around the toddler occurs. We grow out of it and even forget.

The prevalence of it in porn today and its fame in the 70s is/was a crack in the societal veneer. The inside is visible.

Thats largely why its illegal to have sex with younger people. Theyre willing b/c theyre curious. Its up to an adult to say no this is not ok.
