Attention: There is a prevalent email scam happening everywhere where the sender claims to have a password to a site and demands money in some form. Ignore it, do not respond and at most change passwords on any sites you frequent.

Effective immediately, moving or animated GIFs are not allowed in signatures. If your signature has one, please remove or replace it asap. Staff will remove them as and when we see them without notice.

Sincerest apologies to everyone for the recent blackout. VEF and several of our sister forums had a major server malfunction. The database index is being rebuilt from scratch and may take at least several days to be fully restored. Expect major weirdness and lots of glitches in the meantime. Thank you all for your patience and understanding.

Unfortunately it seems that all of the posts made from the 13th March until the crash are permanently lost, please feel free to re-post any such material, apologies for this.

topofthehill Vintage Member Join Date: Jan 2011 Posts: 1,460 Thanks: 2,723 Thanked 87,944 Times in 1,460 Posts	hope for the best but prepare for the worst... in my experience, these ownership takeovers rarely end up with the lasting service. we`ll see. meanwhile, I have been a busy little bee and replaced 70-80% of my pics. lost a tone of time, but on the bright note, I was also checking my links (reuploading dead ones) and for the first time, creating back up for the images on hdd. I may as well do that for the remaining 20-ish % of my posts. thanks to all the guys who provided helpful info last 3 weeks. cheers. __________________ some fights with male face close-ups you win, some you loose ...
