Just been watching, 'What a Carve Up' (1961) featuring the lovely Shirley Eaton. She might have graced the pages of Spick & Span, I don't know - if not, she should have. A great scene is where Shirley and Kenneth Connor share some embarrassing moments in her bedroom. Great early 60s undies, very Toco! A treat... Nick

Shirley was also in, Carry On Constable! She would have looked lovely in the pages of S&S and, of course, would have been very contemporary with the Bearsden girls. I saw her at an autograph/film event in London a few years ago. She would have been in her mid seventies and still looked very presentable. Also another snap from, What a Carve Up.

Bearsden Girls and JB Fullarton
This thread goes on about Ken Howard, but we seem to know nothing about J B Fullarton who photographed the Bearsden girls. Can anyone enlighten us? Do we know where he lived and what he did for a living? A set of Gwynneth Morgan in a gymslip which I think is one of his seems to have a Glasgow Corporation Transport (remember E R L FitzPayne?) bus in the background and a book about "ITV 1966" as a prop.

Tocofan seemed to be quite knowledgeable on J B Fullarton, Amun. His blog which held quite a lot of detail has since closed. I suppose it all happened so long ago and those involved are thin on the ground. Even the youngest of the Bearsden girls will be in their late sixties.

The photo you're referring to, Amun, is Jane Mercer. The vehicle was a Cardiff corporation trolleybus and the snapper was the "Welsh Photographer". Tocofan did find his name eventually but it escapes me now.
