Many members still actually use the reporting posts process that has been in place for many years and that works pretty well, it certainly works better than just whining about it in public.
If it really bothers you so much and if you really want to help tidy the site then please just cut out the moaning and do something productive like reporting any direct dupes.
Just try to remember in massive threads members are not going to want to go through over 100 pages, with thousands of images just to see if the exact same image has been posted before.
