Wink

If I ever get to Australia the first thing I am going to do is find Motorboater, knock him out with some chloroform, then put him in a sack, hire a boat and sail out about 20 miles off the coast into Great white shark territory. Then I will put a few pounds of chum (shark bait ) in the water which will attract the great white, an then open the sack. By then Motorboater will be awake just in time to see me pushing him into the water and Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, the great white grabbing him and just like in the movie "Jaws" biting him in half and swallowing him!!!

I only drink tall bottles of beer. No liquor store in America would ever be able to sell your little stubbie bottles.

When someone is a stubbie short of a six pack, it means their brain is missing a few cells and ain't quite right

That's what I said in the previous post. He is missing some of his marbles, in other words he might be nuts! This conversation is going in circles, in other words whey're getting nowhere, so I think for everyones sake I am ending it and going back to my regular subscriptions. I have a lot more stuff to put in. My daily classical music disc in the thread: what music are you listening to, jokes in the corny joke thread, and more. See you later alligator, or in your case crocodile!!

Cool

Speaking with an Austalian is like trying to talk with someone who lives in an insane asylum!! You're lucky that Australia is so far away from every other country, because if you were'nt you would have been conquered by some one else a long time ago!!

Actually Australians would have the same kind of trouble if you visited an area of the U.S. called Appalachia. Tens of thousands of rural people live in this area, and they use so much slang that even other Americans can't understand them. One thing though is very different. Australians are often thought to be very friendly people. The Appalachians are very territorial and they are very wary of strangers, and they might just kill you if you looked at them the wrong way, and the law is nowhere around to help you. America can be a very dangerous place for the unwary!!

For Appalachia the better term is "hillbilly"
The people who live in Appalachia in historical terms have ben known to make their own liquor and they don't pay Federal income taxes, and there are stories that when Federal revenue agents come around asking questions they are often murdered and buried in unmarked graves. There may be hundreds of these "agents" who have been killed over the many decades since the early 1900's
