There is a bug where posts will bring up a blank when quoting or editing if they contain unusual characters like some accents over letters. Discussed briefly in this thread here. IE & Firefox are affected but Omnidirector found that Chrome was not. Hope this is of use! |

I knew switching off WYSIWYG Editor fixed the added spaces bug (discussed in that same thread I linked to) but was not aware it fixed the blank post bug. Just checked & you are correct, going to "Edit Options" in "Your Control Panel" & switching from WYSIWYG Editor did indeed allow editing & quoting posts with unusual characters. Sadly I actually do prefer WYSIWYG Editor mode, despite its few bugs.  Thanks for that tip though! |
