To dlnhank-can I suggest that a bit of discussion adds a LOT of value to this thread-rather than simply posting links to Youtube clips-(all of which are easily found by a simple search there in any case) with no comment at all...

Thie is the Panzermuseum in Munster, Niedersachsen(Lower Saxony), which I visited last year.
The A7V is a replica, the only surviving example being in the Queensland Museum. Only 20 combat tanks of this model were produced by the Germans in WWI. I think nearly all the German tanks from WWII are shown, the Tiger I is privately owned but doesn't have an engine. Plenty of the Opposition too, Jagdpanzers from both sides and of course the 88s. The cutaway barrel is from a Leopard. There are many post-war examples from the USSR and the DDR, and NATO. There are many excellent technical museums in Germany, this is no exception. |

The Tiger I is a replica based on the privately owned one that used to be kept here, caught me out two years ago as its not the usual T-34 conversion job.
The Panzer II is only represented here as an empty turret but bar that all the main German WWII production models are here. Nice selection tmee2000, thanks for posting. |
