Is it possible to "follow" particular members?

Hi folks,

Apologies if this was previously discussed. On some forums I think it is possible to get a notification when specific members from the "follow this member" list post something. I think it is very convenient. Is it possible to do something similar here, instead of bookmarking the whole thread?

Not by notification to the user control panel (subscribing to threads)
but manual advanced search - last 500 posts/threads in date order

For more control over the search, select 'Advanced Search' from the drop-down box. The advanced search page allows you to restrict your search to individual forums, find posts or threads by user, or return results based on tags (?). There are also options to find posts from a certain date, or threads with a certain number of replies.

User Name - top right / threads or posts bottom left / sections - bottom right
