I'm very sorry to report our colleague highwayman_274 has decided to retire from moderating. He was well-liked by all the VEF staff and by all of us here. All I can really say is he was outstanding at his job and his daily presence will be sorely missed.

So now we're on the hunt for a replacement. Interested parties can message me for more info; thanks.

The following I'm sure I've seen somewhere in mystery boxes (some years ago, not recent), but can't now re-find it.

Did it perhaps get solved? I think it was from Club (US? International?) c.1990-1.

I have first hand knowledge how hard the work is here, and how well icu, hos, exfarmer, and highwayman did it. sweatyhat and Vader did their parts well too.

I would love to see any of you back at this.

Wished I had more time to do more here, but even if I put in 8 hours a day, I would never be as good as you guys at this.
And we would still be shorthanded.

Old blood, new blood, almost any blood is needed.
We have been shorthanded here for years.
That is a big part of the reason we are so far behind on many nice things we want to do.
