Some might say thanks are V.E.F`s life`s blood , and I`d be one of them saying it !
Well imagine this a forum where hardly anyone clicked
It`s very doubtful those that contributed . Those who took the time the effort to post , would hang around here and do so for long Thank`eeeee Unless you`re a natural blond I`d like to think you possibly sit (I said sit ) having been jokily advised Whether you go on from this point and take them scant seconds to hit the button on posts you agree with or appreciate though is completely up to you.

I won't go into gory details, but I had a really tough time sleeping last night. Two reasons: I had already napped for about 4 hours, from 8PM to 12AM, and because I had some kind of pain in either my tooth or gums, I can never tell which part exactly. I wanted to sleep more to skip through the suffering. I couldn't, so I resorted to solo time. It turns out that finishing once wasn't enough. 32 minutes of trying to go back to sleep, failed, so, did some solo time again. Finished, still couldn't sleep. After the 5th time, I did finally sleep, but that was after 4 1/2 hours removed from waking up from the nap.
The pain's decreased, thankfully, but not completely gone. Hopefully by tomorrow morning it is. Doing this also taught me that I can definitely do the NoFap challenge, if I'm committed. I'm going on 18 hours now. I hope to never go through that again. |

If you analyze that film it really doesn't make the blind bit of logical sense. In fact plot wise it`s as inconsistent as Larry`s "German" accent

Course I`m only going by what was claimed during that scene in Marathon Man

I'll keep that in mind, thanks. I'm better now. I'm playing it safe by eating more on my right side, it was the left bottom teeth area that got the pain. I learned today that soymilk makes up for lack of sugar in coffee. I'm a sugar fiend with coffee, and while I've used soymilk before plenty of times, it had always been with a lot of sugar. There was very little sugar left, so the creaminess added by soymilk filled in for the sugar. Also, Cafe Bustelo is a Cuban product, that's been our coffee of choice for years, I don't think I ever had any other coffee at home that wasn't Bustelo's. It's just that this family is feverishly in love with our Dominican culture, that the coffee came from there. Cafe Bustelo, close enough. |

That script writing for today's movies and TV is rubbish compared to the 30's and 40's. From Gone Girl where she comes out of hospital still covered in blood, to an episode of Cloak and Dagger where the protagonist throws a baseball game and his girlfriend who knows he did it, doesn't even ask him why.

In 2015 when I incidentally celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Mortal Kombat movie by watching it, I saw an article about a reboot movie being planned. James Wan was listed as an executive producer, Jon Hyams (Universal Soldier movies) as a producer, New Line Cinema would be part of this, who were part of the original 2 movies, Warner Bros since they own NLC and NetherRealm Studios (the team that makes Mortal Kombat games). Naturally, I'm intrigued, but nothing really came of it.
This week, all of a sudden it seems to be greenlit, with casting descriptions being revealed. I learned of these, and there's half-hope, half-dread. The big notes from the casting descriptions (you can see them here): some new character named Cole, an ex-boxer, very generic backstory, supposedly the audience representative, he sees all this fantastical stuff, and the audience gets the same reactions, basically. Not necessary at all in my opinion. Sonya Blade, rather than being a badass female special forces officer, she's a "prophecy chaser," beautiful, brainy. Fuck that. Raiden, God of Thunder...14 years old?! Cole's various family members? You get descriptions for them, but nothing mentioned of the two biggest icons in the franchise, Scorpion and Sub-Zero, not one mention of them. That just gives fans like me the belief that they won't appear in the movie, which is an unforgivable sin. Other MK characters were described fairly accurately to their video game counterparts, though a lot of them are minor, not-well-talked-about characters. Nitara, Reiko, Drahmin, nobody talks about them. They should've used the roster from Mortal Kombat X, which contains iconic characters, even ones you couldn't play as, such as Sindel. Mileena is mentioned, but no Kitana? Jax Bridges? His canon surname is Briggs. Where's Johnny Cage? Some caretaker for a clock tower that's in his 80s, laughably old? Screw that, why can't it be Raiden doing that kind of duty? In the games, in Mortal Kombat Legacy, in the original movies, Raiden gathered the EarthRealm warriors and was like a mentor, there's no need for an old guy to be present in this. I'm just ranting now, it's not good. |
