That if I don't get into a modicum of a semi sane sleeping pattern sooner than soon, I`m going to properly go forgetfully insane

Been making unnecessary mistakes recently purely down to a lack of concentration and focus.
Had much better snooze sessions this time last year. But then often used to play console games until my eyes ached and got yawny.
Then was given the "Advice" that playing games was only getting my brain overexcited and would make it more difficult to sleep.
Yes the "Advice" was from a woman now you ask

Last week our fourteen year old dog Basil had surgery for an ulcerated tonsil and five teeth removed. Well since then he has learned that if he whimpers and looks at my wife with his big soulful brown eyes, holds up one paw and shakes, she will give him warm minced chicken and chuck steak with melted cheese.
How do I know he's playing her...because when she goes out and I give him food from a tin at room temperature, he'll gobble it down just as quick.
I'm not going to spoil it for him though. I curious to see how long he can milk it.

The doggies always get the leftover roast chicken...minus the bones of course. Because his mouth is still sore from the extraction, my missus minces it for him. The chuck is just a few pieces as a treat.
As to your implied question, yeah they are spoiled when it comes to food.
