I am very sad about BB.

We usually just talked about his meds and what the doctors were doing to him or at him. He was a kind guy and even when he was on heavyweight medications that would have floored an elephant, he was on here posting his blend of humour , blarney and that sideways look he had on life.

He made many friends and people valued what he brought to us all. He always called me 'Doc' in his PMs which would have pleased my Mum.

The sad thing is that the site was down at a time he may have had one more chance of laughing with his brothers here..for just one last time.

Wherever you are now BB, I hope your essence is at peace.

Just found out the shocking news about BB's passing away. It's a tragedy for BB was a stalwart of the VEF.

I was saddened to hear of the passing of our fellow member Billybunter. Although I personally have not been very active here of late, I would like to express my appreciation of him. He was a great and generous contributor to this site and many of the threads herein, including some of my paltry efforts in the past. He will be missed by his many friends here, myself included. I shall be raising a glass to your memory tonight, and perhaps a bacon butty as well.

I just heard and I'm deeply saddened. His junk food thread was one of my faves. I'm not much of a drinker so tonight I'll toast him with a double chili cheeseburger, wet fries and a big slice of hot dutch apple pie with chocolate chip ice cream. RIP BB and thanks for all the smiles.

R I P Billy.

He wasn't my friend, in fact, I knew very little about him. However, over the few years that I have been on VEF we have had several "run ins together". He or I would apologise the next day ( mostly him) and everything would be fine. Had the odd laugh together as well.

I was thinking recently that I had not seen any posts from Billy. Now I know why.

To his Family and Friends he will be missed and as for me I will need to find someone else to call me a Reprobate.

Tamsmith, I'll call you a reprobate if you like, goodness knows he called me it enough times, so I have a lot to share! I guess we both miss him. strange really to miss someone you have never met, and who you usually argued with because of, shall we, say differing views.

The only thing we really agreed on was The Who.
