[solved] Dee @ VEF - Who is Marie? Any other names or info? - Page 2

Solved - yes...minky found her VEF thread.
The bigger question is whether her thread should be called 'Dee'.
Dee isn't a name I hear often for Hungarian models; but you never know.
I will look around my DDF collection in a few days and see if I can find Defrancesco's modelname for the set and get back to this thread

We can discuss changing her thread name.
I think the decision belongs to the Model mods.

Dee is what we have been calling her.
So far, seen some proof of that ID from Club and CI, but some doubt about Mayfair.

If we can confirm the Mayfair appearance, that would probably make Dee the strongest ID.
Might want to keep Dee in the title for continuity.

Marie is confirmed for this girl. Seen in 2 different mags.

Isa was in one mag. Isabelle in another.

Is her being Hungarian confirmed?

Maybe Mr Hunter will find what we need.

There seems to be no known Mayfair set of hers so it's right that that was removed from her thread title.

I think her Hungarian origins/nationality, if correct/evidence-based would be interesting but nonetheless is irrelevant to her name: we're not talking about her real name but rather just her professional alias or "best known as". For some models those are quite clearly made-up whether by the model herself, her photog./agency, or perhaps by mag(s)., for others they're less-clearly made-up. For only a (relative) few they don't seem to be made-up at all.

By my rough reckoning this model was Dee in CIUK 5 times (& once unnamed).
High Society (De) twice as Isa
Seventeen Special once as Isabelle
High Society International once, possibly as Caroline
Newlook and Playmen once each as Marie
an unnamed mag. once as Liane
plus other appearances seemingly unnamed or posters haven't told us how she was named.

In theory two different mags. both using Marie might count for more than just one mag. using Dee, but they did so so many times & her thread's been known as Dee for quite awhile so I'm reluctant to change its title without a distinctly better name, e.g. a two-part one, which is something we don't have here.

If we had other models also contending for the name "Dee" then it might be useful clarification to add some akas for this one, but for now I prefer just the one name with relevant akas listed in her thread's posts/post titles so they can be found.

It's curious that she was in CIUK so often but as yet not found in other Raymond mags, either UK or US?
