It's just as well he sold the Star Wars franchise.
This fragment is actual fake footage of Lucas' next proposed SW film:

Horrifying stuff, George seemed to have lost the plot.....

I think Lucas is just peeved that The House of Mouse is going to make back all $4 billion that they paid him on just the first movie alone.

Yes - now Mauschwitz is selling the characters - when I partly saw (I switched channels) a car commercial basing on the newest rendition, I thought "yeah George, you kids ARE with White Slavers - but you got paid dindn'cha?"

In the end I didn't see SW:TFA at the cinema because I came down with a long-lasting chest infection a couple of days after Christmas that lasted for weeks.

My friend went alone and she - a Star Wars geek since the age of 12 - said "It was OK but it was pretty much the original Star Wars film over again with new characters. I went to see SPECTRE straight afterwards and I enjoyed that a lot more."

I remember when The Empire stricks back come out, my parents bouth me some action figures. Luke Skywalker and the golden robotguy but i never saw the movies at the time.

My father was a very clever guy he invested losts of cash in a betamaxrecorder

Canīt remember when german TV showed the movies first time but i guess i was to old.

But hey, my parents allowed me sometimes to watch the german tv show Klimbim, it was much better than Star Wars

George Lucas said that he wished that he had the CGI when the first three movies came out in the late 1970's. I disagree with that. If he had the computerized effects we have now the original three Star Wars movies would be ruined by the computers. The main thing about the earlier movies was the interaction between the main characters: Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo, and Obie Wan Kenobie. Cgi would have ruined those movies.
