My avatar is a photo of the small part actor Robert J. Wilke who made 400 cameo appearances in western t.v. shows and also had small parts in 50 movies. If you have ever seen the original "The Magnificient Seven" Wilke played the train yard bully who challenges James Coburn to a duel. Coburn used his knife and Wilke a gun. Wilke lost and died. The avatar photo itself is from a scene that Wilke played in an episode of "Bonanza". I like Robert J. Wilke because of his rugged look and his voice. I like many other actors for their unique voices. Examples include: Richard Widmark, Walter Pidgeon, Richard Basehart, Claude Rains, etc.

Noticeable tonight during the Queen's Birthday Party(gawd bless yer Ma'am!) was the number of stars with something to plug such as Shawn Mendes, Kylie Minogue, Craig David and Sting & Shaggy who all have new records out - talk about blatant plugs! I suspect even the Royal Variety Performance has also become the same thing - one blatant plug show.

India introduces death penalty for child rapists
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-43850476

"The change to the country's penal code applies to those convicted of raping a child under the age of 12."

I am mostly against the death penalty but I cannot say I will weep for any of the vermin

23 November 1963 to 25 December 2017, sacrificed on the altar of identity politics. The show is dead to me, but my DVD's live on

Now if only Pakistan would follow suit with as much enthusiasm as they devote to enforcing their blasphemy laws....

Just watched the Chris Wallace interview with the French President . I was extremely impressed by him and his attitude and answers. Better than I have seen from my POTUS anyway.

Duchess of Cambridge has safely delivered a...boy.
Favourite names with bookies are Albert, Arthur,, James and Phillip.

Cry God for Harry, England and St George!! Mind you, you'd never know it as we don't go as mad as the Irish, Welsh or Scottish on their national days.

I wish good luck to the parents as I would after any birth but I'm bored to bits with talk of it already and couldn't give two hoots about whatever name they choose

Meanwhile in the real world

'TSB gave me access to someone's £35,000'
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-43860449

Under the new GDPR system companies are bricking themselves about data protection and the old it's under investigation and we are sorry won't wash soon.

and on a sadder note

London Marathon: MasterChef semi-finalist Matt Campbell dies
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-cumbria-43864835

Matt Campbell, 29, collapsed at the 22.5 mile mark and died later in hospital.

"He appeared on the BBC's MasterChef: The Professionals in December 2017, and had been running the race - the hottest on record - for his father who died 18 months ago."

There were warnings out about the heat sadly he still thought he was fit enough to run, maybe the fact that many people run these races solely for charity purposes makes them push that little harder
