Quite so. The causal agent is classically a GroupII coagulase-positive staphylococci (Merk Manual of Medicine) In adults some form of urinary infection is the most common way of provoking the illness. In infants it is cross infection by manual contact.

I really did experience anal with a woman who could get relaxed enough to giggle during vigorous anal. She had enough experience and control that she could make her anus even looser than her vagina.
