Wink Together in eclectic dreams

Haven`t been drinking alcohol lately , well for two hundred and 19 hours 22 minutes to be exact and so for some reason have been remembering more dreams than usual .

"Hey but others dreams are f**king dull "

I hear you say , and yes you`re right

"But then why start a piss poor thread for them ? "

I figure you counter

Well the answers simple , i`m sober and so want to inflict my misery onto you ALL

"Oh , fair enough then just thought we`d ask "

Well first off "Sod you all then "

And second off , this threads about dreams . What you dreamt , who you dreamt of ?. Was it a hoard of blood thirsty tax men ?. Was it someone from the forum ?, if so i can`t blame you as i am very dashing . No , not me ?. Ahhhh so was it a pornstar eh you perv , or a celebrity maybe ?. If so i can`t blame you as i am very dashing

Yes we are and so onto last nights dream , erm in a minute

See with this thread i`m also figuring maybe we can start describing the dreams (Or nightmares ) we had last night, then our fellow members can give their completely uninformed and probably way off the mark opinions of what those dreams (Or nightmares ) might signify

GreenSkull`s Dreamy Log : Date Number 12/09/09

From what (And as best) i can remember it began with me in the dark back garden outside my apartment building , i notice the lower floor rear bathroom window is wide open. Next thing i know i`m in a huge barn having to climb up a large haystack to avoid a mass of zombie like creatures who are after me , then the haystack is set on fire . Finishes with me trapped in a helicopter with a three headed dog

God knows what it means ?, oh and no i didn`t have cheesy fondue for supper

Hopefully it somehow means i`m coming into money ?, in which case i better go buy that lottery card i`ve been saving up for

There is a massive body of research on dreams, but interpreting them is way out of my league. I am inclined to think that the conscious mind purges itself through dreams, much as the body purges itself through, well, you know...

The doctors can look at a stool or a urine sample and not only determine what you ate or drank, but how well your body coped with processing it. A lot of physical ailments are diagnosed this way. Likewise I am sure with psychiatrists and dreams: but they would need to know a lot about your waking life in order to have any chance of interpreting your dreams.

I once had a bit part in Joseph. You didn't dream of seven fat cows followed by seven thin cows by any chance?

No cows as far as i can recall , oh and what was the part ?. Unless it was one of the cows , in which case what end were you

Just been thinking the helicopter bit might be because i`m going on a trip in several days , a trip i don`t particularly wish to go on. Plus the strange zombie like creatures might represent my family ?. While the open window could mean i`m subconsciously worried about my flat getting robbed when i`m away ,or i`m worried about getting robbed by someone in the country i`ll be in as they`re famous for it

Hey this interpretation is a doodle

Sadly I say, no, I don't think it means you're coming into money. I think it means you're freakin nuts. But seriously, GS, after reading about your dream, and being a spiritual man myself, I would say the open window means you want to jump out of the Moderator house. Of course the barn is the forum, the haystack you have to climb are all the posts you have to review every day, and the zombies are members like me that are driving you nuts and draining your life blood. And of course, the three headed dog in the helicopter stands for "Vintage Erotica Forums". And they are barking to you.."you're flying high now, boy!". After serious reflection and meditation, I would suggest...start drinking again.

(And by the way, if that's really you in the last picture...just kill yourself). Don't thank me, that's what I'm here for. Have a nice day. Brian

You`re a spiritual man ???, hey you do know that means someone who cares about people, animals, and the planet plus knows that we are all one, and consciously attempts to honor this oneness right ?

It`s not just someone who imbibes whiskey and crème de menthe chasers each night , as that`s called a spirit-ritual man

As for the booze free existence (As you simply only exist when starved of booze , you don`t live ) well that`s been fostered on me for the time being

Also no that`s not me in the picture , hairs all wrong and the shadings off several degrees . But thanks for highlighting the guy in your reply oh " Spiritual " man

I once had a "sleep study" performed on me after a long period of frequent migraines. It was mainly to check me for apnea. The only significant finding was that I'm capable of entering REM (the dream state) faster than 90% of most people. I'm also capable of extremely vivid dreams that I can easily remember. However, I havent seen any that would determine/explain anything about how my life is going at that particular time. I've had nightmares during great times and beautiful ones in bad times. I've had super bizzare dreams that had me laughing when I woke at their complete absurdity. The really fun ones are when I actualy become aware of them and just enjoy the ride. I've read through some sites that were supposed to have answers about dreams, as if similar dreams were distributed among the masses, sent to them to explain their current life condition. I dont buy it. I think the dream state is where the mind wonders off on its own little holiday, making up for the time we've wasted on it during our waking hours.

Yeah, of course I'm a spiritual man. And of course I know what all that crap about caring about people, and animals, and the planet, and all that noise means. Sure, I'm all about that, and more. That's my freakin thing, save the planet, and the whales, and free Leonard Peltier. That's right, I'm on top of all this crap, (I would say shit, but you always yell at me). So, in conclusion, I return to the original subject, which was about your dream. It's, uh, well, how do I put this delicately? It's freakin mental. But there's just scads of shrinks out there that could definitely help you. Maybe. And you have national health care, so I would say....go for it! I've known people who had shock treatments, and they say it's not as bad as you would think.

Default A strange unusual dream

Ooo.. Let me interpretrupt for a second!

I distinctly remember having a disturbing dream about ten years ago, long before this became a more or less common joke, as used in Australian Viagra commercials.

I was having some trouble with my then current girfriend.
We had broken up many times. I lost count around sixty, and yes, the sex was that good.
So, as you do, I began seeing someone else.
I awoke one night from a dream I'd had where my ex was with a piano playing friend of mine and informing me of their union. She ended by saying "He's a pianis", (that's right - no 't').
I swear I'd never heard or thought of that term conciously before!

Where the real surprise was that I found out soon after that they were starting to 'see' each other. Made it a bit awkward as he was supposed to be drumming in a band with me. Luckily, for me it was just a side project!

The 'new girl' was quite intelligent. A social services co-ordinator, who also liked to delve into dream analysis. Sadly she offered no insight. (Not that I needed any). It was a real shame we didn't share the same level of sexual chemistry as I did with piano girl.

I ended up going back to 'piano girl' briefly and can remember waking one morning to hear myself say "Just shoot me", which woke us both up.

No matter what you do GS, do not, repeat, do not follow brain's advice. He means you no good.

BTW: Who's Leonard Peltier? Should we know? Should we care?
