I think you make my point - it's not right to lob missiles of any kind at people - regardless of how much you may disagree with them.

So you're trying to get it out of your head by putting it in all of ours?

It is our American tradition that incoming presidents are instantly targets of an adversarial press. Should they find themselves with the opposition party in the majority in one or both houses of Congress, it becomes very tough sledding indeed.

Mr. Trump added to his problems by his rhetoric and actions. Those of us who have followed his career in the business press over the past 40+ years knew that there was much that was questionable, if not outright criminal. Running for the presidency placed him in the cross-hairs of Congressional investigations. His political inexperience allowed people of questionable affiliation to attach themselves to his campaign. His business activities over the past couple of decades virtually demanded scrutiny once lobbyists for Russia, Turkey, and Ukraine were prominent players in his campaign.

The fact is that he has appointed lobbyists to head agencies that regulate industries they represented. Many of his appointees have been so corrupt that they were quickly forced out. Respected members of his administration have either been fired or quit in frustration.

Every American business titan knows that his dealings will be vigorously investigated if he runs for high office and his family will be under a microscope. This is why they do not run for office. The very fact that Trump resists inquiry into his business dealings so vehemently raises scrutiny.

If half the allegations printed in the the pro-business dailies and magazines over the years are true, Trump belonged in jail many years ago. He begged the system to crush him by capturing the Presidency, and it will be very satisfying for many people to watch that happen.

That's similar everywhere, I was referring to the mass protests and "Not My President" chants and placards, I don't like Trump much, don't hate him, but that sort of thing and not respecting democracy I find disgusting.

Trump has often said that he is not my president. From his first week in office he has pledged to favor the interests of the 40% of American voters who voted for him. By "democracy" you mean the same system that elected Charles V as emperor of the Heilige Romanische Reich in 1519. Yesterday Nevada became the 14th state to sign onto a compact to assign all electoral votes to the winner of the popular vote. The compact would take effect when states representing more than 270 electoral votes have ratified it.

What you mean to say is this, he was elected using a system you have had for years, you're not respecting your own system is what you're really saying because it didn't favour your preferred outcome, same has happened here.

We've had governments lose elections that actually won more votes overall but being in electorates a seat must be won, and the side that won more seats won the election, maybe we're more civilised down here and don't take to the streets chanting and just take it on the chin.

In this case, our election this past weekend, The Liberals won more seats and even won more of the popular vote and actually have a majority government as opposed to the last 3 years where they were in minority. It's just great to see the silent majority defeat the loudmouth activist group be very very quiet this week.

Been listening to a lot of talk back radio this week, funniest for me was the callers who said they abandoned Labor for

Being too Green
Class warfare
Attacks on pensioners savings
Offering little for families to get ahead
Cost of living
Far too politically correct
Tax Tax Tax increases
Not being able to say how much Green policies were going to cost
Freedom of speech

The list goes on and on,

All in all, they were trying to become far to left and tried changing our way of life, but there is noting wrong with our way of life.
