Question regard "Set" postings

Can someone please explain and tell what the value, purpose or significance is in posting sets of 15-100 photos of the same woman?

I just finished looking at a set of 92 photos of the same woman and three-quarters of them were basically the same photo, the only difference being that her head was turned a little more left or right, or her leg/arm was an inch higher or lower than in the preceding photo.

It seems like such a waste of space looking at multi-photos with such minute differences. Am I missing or not understanding something here? I must be ... Can someone please explain and clarify this thing about "sets" for me?

I agree, too. Over on the Women of A Certain Age/MILFs thread (one of the over three hundred I subscribe to), guys post jillions of shots of the same model. Now, fifteen or so (different poses) I can handle, but it can take an eon to load a page and it's not worth it when it's all the same close-up.

I have to single out the work of Ozzyozzy, who regularly puts up three representative shots of the model, along with a zip file of the other hundred and fifty-two (or so) photos for those that want. Props to Ozzyozzy.

I've been saying the same thing since I've been on the internet! A picture of some celeb on the red carpet, then.. look! She takes half a step, and her foot moves 3 inches, and after another ten feet she starts to turn her head to the left...what a thrill! 50 pictures later she might actually wave!

Then besides the total boredom, there's the bandwidth issue...and most notable is the amount of time it takes for a page with 2000 crappy photos to load before you can view them! Most of the time if I see if a post was added by a known offender, I just ignore it, rather than waste the time waiting for a page of 160 pictures of Jennifer Garner in sweatpants load her groceries and her rugrats into the Suburban in the Ralph's parking lot.

I think the point of posting full sets is to give the viewer the option to select which ever pics appeal
- best not leave it up to an idiot like me to be your editor & choose what shots you'd like would you?

Then someone will post adds.., another may inevitably ask for more
& some wise arse will say here's the full set anyway...

Fully agree, Ozzy is a great poster & I thank his stuff whether i download or not,
..but how often have you found that after downloading you are still left with the same selection problem ?

and you've just wasted many megs downloading & the HD space

No offence meant, but it sounds like you're all a bit jaded with the act of looking guys

Rodenx posts HQ stuff that i often wouldn't be able to devote the Mbs to the download of the full set.
i get to choose the pix i like & he also sorts out many of the Near Duplicates in his post , usually due to the 125 image limit

Photosets to me serve two real purposes. First, there are a variety of poses to choose from, as NIN points out. As an keen fan of the female form - as are many of us on here I'd assume - a certain angle, a cute glance, an eye-catching smile or a pussy spread in a particular way can make a photo memorable. Sometimes it is just about the finer points of an angle.

The other more rudimentary reason is that a set of 100 or so images is a perfect alternative to a video for a decent wank. More often than not I'd choose a particular photoset, set it on slideshow and hammer away - sometime shooting before the girl has got her knickers off, sometimes not. It's also fun to see what photo in the set actually turns out to be the "money shot".

Smaller sets are irritating in this regard in that sometimes when you are just about to fire a decent load the girl has suddenly got her skirt and top back on...

The only reason I post full sets is because I'm frankly too lazy to sort them out.

Also, who knows which pic is the money shot for someone else? At least if I post the whole set, people can scroll through (or download, as I also put RS links up for some sets) and and see what takes their fancy, so to speak.

Speaking personally, I prefer a full set rather than selected images from a set. Still, each to their own perversion.

In reading some of the responses as to why some like photosets, I will respect your reasons, but I don't necessarily agree with some of them.

There are literally thousands of pictures in photosets in which an arm or a leg is moved an inch or two which have absolutely no change, bearing or impact to the facial or pussy shot whatsoever. Those are the types of photos which I find to be a total waste of time and thread space.

If some are that fussy, intense or obsessed over a girl's teeth showing or not when smiling in a photo, or what constitutes a "money shot", appeal, favorite, or whatever else fancy term it be given, then perhaps one needs to re-evaluate one's life calling or career! That type of fanatical criticism almost crosses the threshold of what some might consider being abnormal. What possible difference can it make if an arm/leg is several inches one way or another, just so long as the tits and pussy shot are clearly visible and she is sporting a pleasant grin or a smile?

Lighten up, its just a photograph ... we are not critiquing a fine wine or examining a precious diamond for flaws here on VEF!

Oh, yeah, I agree! I apologise...sure, you can overkill with too many similar pics of a specific model, but I wasn't really referring to "porno" type photos. A certain second of a pose or look can mean the difference between a dismal dribble or a wall slamming knuckle buster.

I was actually referring to celeb photos...and I know I'll get a lot of flak here, but sorry, that's just my opinion. There's nothing more boring or time consuming to me than uninspired posts of celebrities ripped from celeb tabloid sites. Julianne Moore, or Jessica Biel, or Jennifer Garner are all outstanding looking women, but I don't want to look at 50 pictures of them walking down the red carpet in a full length gown, or playing with their kids, or loading their groceries into the car. Sure, it's easy to download this crap from thousands of celeb sites and post them, and some members get a lot of thanks by being copying machines, but personally...I just don't get off looking at Jennifer Love Hewitt in a sweatsuit taking her dog for a shit in the park.

In a related issue while we are on the subject of photoset postings ... I do not see or understand why occasionally some posters feel the need or be obligated to apologize whenever having only a couple or several photos to post.

Personally, I would much rather see, and I feel that it is much more enjoyable to only have a couple to several photos of different women, or several of the same woman in totally different poses, than to have 50-100+ boring and humdrum photos of the same woman in essentially the same pose!

So you posters out there with only one or a few photos to post stop apologizing! In my opinion and estimation you are actually contributing more than someone who is posting a multitude of similar photos!
