Try cutting down (or giving up) dairy produce. I used to drink a pint or more of milk every day and used to suffer from really bad hay fever from late May to early July. I read somewhere that there was a link between consuming milk and hay fever (because cows eat grass) so I tried giving up drinking milk and the hay fever disappeared. You may think this sounds like rubbish but it worked for me. No harm in trying
