Proroguing the parliament has to be on the advice of the sitting PM though as far as I know, not being a Canadian. Unlike in Australia, where the GG intervened to clear a logjam caused by a PM who could not pass a budget and would not call an election, no Canadian PM as so far sacked a prime minister. But Justin Trudeau need not rest too easy, because there is always a first time.

You're not alone. Those type of adverts are all over American t.v. Probably all over the world. Gone are the days when t.v. commercials were actually fun to watch!

I don't really like ads, but I don't see why everyone is unhappy with these ads.

Back in the 80's, there use to be a lot of funny ads, but people could not remember what the product was - with these, you at least know what they are pushing.

While the mainstream media continue to ignore it, there have been protests worldwide about the imprisonment of Tommy Robinson. A petition to free him has reached close to 600,000 already.
Nine police officers turned up to arrest him for breach of the peace. This was quickly dropped for something else. From arrest to trial to imprisonment took less than five hours. If this was Russia there would be worldwide condemnation from Western governments.
