Varies depending on whose having issues and what content is being posted
Was using imagebam until the feedback that many pics werent loading Started using imgbox until their site starting freezing Which left imagevenue - the most reliable until they got hacked several years ago What you use will vary as they all have clear differences Reading their FAQs a must as they do change Imagevenue keeps pic descriptions intact unlike everyone else that i've used They mention no more than 200 images in 1 gallery No pic bigger than 3mb Pics inactive for 12 months are removed Their gallery system is pedantic to say the least http://www.imagevenue.com/faq.php Imagebam is the only one to constantly reject a handful of pics in a few sets They seem to have changed their ideas on the description we give pics Appears after you've downloaded it but not when hovering over a thumbnail - strange but better than complete obliteration Images are stored for life time (apart from those that just die) up to 4mb per pic (was 10mb awhile back)or this is out of date Unlimited size of account http://www.imagebam.com/frequently-asked-questions Imgbox - havent really used them long enough to form an opnion Gallery up to 500 images 10mb per pic 150x thumbnails - closest to the forum maximum size of 180x Hints at there being no hard bandwidth limits - warning sign not to post too much volume ie full sets in HQ There are no limits for size of account (fair use) - dangerous wording imho Its the kind of wording that was on rapidshare before they said go premium or lose your large free account. http://imgbox.com/help I'd suggest spreading the load and use them all because history says too much content on 1 host is very ugly when they go down or offline. A good way of knowing what hosts are having issues 1721 posts long http://vintage-erotica-forum.com/t11...pandhost-.html A list from our sister forum Planet Suzy that might help spread the load if the above dont suit 2. These services are only allowed hosts for Clickable Images (i.e. Thumbnails): depic.me gfycat.com (for gifs only) imagebam.com imageho.me i m a g e t w i s t (Banned on VEF) imagevenue.com imagezilla.net imgbox.com imgcredit.xyz imgflash.net picstate.com pimpandhost.com (currently blocked by interpol in a few countries) pixhost.to p i x r o u t e (banned on VEF) postimage.org sharenxs.com someimage.com stooorage.com turboimagehost.com uploadhouse.com As for posting on VEF beyond the 180x thumbnail limit 1. Use a short specific title in every post - those viewing VEF via the hybrid view will thank you for it 2. always put any specific text details above pictures otherwise search returns will end up looking like bb image code - totally useless to everybody 3. save a text copy of your post - especially for the gallery link address alas sometimes forums have issues where entire posts are lost Easily re-upped if you save a copy Last edited by buttsie; August 5th, 2016 at 07:14 PM.. I mostly use Imagevenue, and lately I've been using Imagebam for gifs.
All image hosts experience downtimes and overloads, although it seems to be different for different people maybe according to their geographical location or most probably due to the bandwidth their provider eats up.

I've used all of the common image hosts and my preferences change depending upon their performance. For the last few months, I have mainly used someimage. It's fast and easy to use. My back-up is imagebam. I will use imgbox from time to time, but it has gotten a bit slow and cumbersome though it easily has the best user interface of any of the image hosts. I don't like imagevenue, to be honest. The interface is too old school and it has the annoying tendency to drop images. Pimpandhost is not an option for me any longer. I've never liked it and with all of the recent access and legal issues, I want nothing to do with it.

I always keep using ImageBam but you need Ghostery or Ad Blocker to stop an annoying pop up i think it was from appearing.
