Why do I have trouble with "rg.to" files?

I clear cookies and let the counter count it gets to zero and then resets.

For example:

I wanted some Nikki Randall and it resets on me.

RapidG have been the same for me since about February, sometimes the page doesn't load correctly or the counter goes down & next page the captcha won't load. On rare occasions when the captcha is accepted the next page is RapidG main front page & not download

I contacted them in March and was told they have had no reports of problems & it must be at my end.

I also tried deleting cookies, check for malware & even suspected site certificates

all brought no answer or change so i would also like to know if there is a solution

Could be quite a few reasons

The server the file is on is currently, experiencing too much traffic so us free users get
held out over and over until the level lessens

The overall bandwidth being used is maxed out by premium users on a binge
hence us free users having to wait

If your using a script blocker with your browser you might need to deactivate it
as it could be interfering with captcha / re-captcha / solve media loading properly

No script interfering with their Captcha - possibly needs to be disabled
(15.8.2013 - appears to no longer be the case but the
site and solve media still need to be allowed on consecutive screens)

That was another avenue I tried, disabled all Extensions on chrome (adBlock, Ghostery etc, even smoothscroll & picture downloaders) to no avail

I'd also tried alternate browsers & get the same results.

I just tried the link using FF 42.0 with NoScript enabled and it counted down, gave me the captcha and now it's downloading at a blazing 60 KB/sec

You may want to try Jdownloader2 if you keep having problems. That seems to work better for most people.

Thank you, Jenny. I failed to take into account I was using the Pale Moon browser (supports Imagehost Grabber) so I tried with FFox and it worked- blazing, as you say, at about 80kbs
