How to improve VEF - Page 39

Glad to see this thread got somewhat on the right track for the first 10-15 pages had got me seeing cross-eyed and totally lost (ok not that hard to loose me at times but still...)

Will just throw this one out there and see how it flies . I think it's time to add another forum. With all the image themed threads on the go, tits of the hour, ass of the day, sexy gif of the day etc, forming an "Image Theme Forum" and transferring these threads there would tidy up the "Funnies" as well as "GD&N" which has a few of these type threads as well.

Personally imho these type threads do not fit(fall) in these 2 forums anyway. Looking at how the site's sections are broken down the only place this forum could go is in GD&N seeing that the images cover all other areas (vintage/classic/modern)

This is more of an organizational move than anything else but it would place all these threads in one concise forum under the proper topic heading.

In 2012 we had a big bust-up in the girls posing with horses thread: a mod had looked at the thread and spotted quite a few vintage/classic pics in there, and the thread was (and still is) in the Modern section. So s/he deleted about half the thread's posts, just like that - no prior warning (or subsequent explanation - the stuff just disappeared), no moving of vintage stuff into the vintage section, etc. We were not pleased! A subsequent discussion thread (not sure if it still exists) ensued, discussing precisely this issue of themed "timeless" threads, and a section of the forum where they might live. Anyway - this came to nothing.

So I replicated the horses thread in v.e.t., and then lots of others of this ilk. I even planned to replicate she-male threads (most mods favourite subject matter to moderate), only to find I was too late - there were already she-male threads in both vintage and modern.

I had hoped that the subsequent proliferation of themes would make the mods see the error of their ways, but no such luck: most are attached at the hip to either the modern or the vintage part of the forum, and as far as they are concerned the other part of the forum could be about teaching retired people how to paint garden gnomes...

Are united? Exactly who ? Sorry I'm not following that statement mate

GD & Funnies are the cornerstone that makes this site not just a pron forum but a community. Just my view.

Can there be some realistic modification to the list of terms that can not be used in searches?

Two examples that are not not allowed (& that make no sense) are the words "VEF" and "something". 'VEF' isn't used for any purpose other than referring to the forum itself, and 'something' is too short--even though it is nine letters long.

I think you'll find it comes under the too common section e.d. , not too short

Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms.
The following words are either very common, too long, or too short and were not included in your search : something

I think we all agree the search function can be hit and miss but take it from me the search function in the mega million £££ computer system we have at my workplace is a hell of a lot worse.
