Yes, R. Bolla , a.k.a Robert Kerman MUST be included. He had several crossover parts in shows Starsky & Hutch and I believe also Hawaii Five-0. He was doing rather well in "straight" parts until someone black balled him because of his porn career.
I think that is horse shit, but it happened.

He was working, getting better parts, when one day his agent said: " I cannot work with you anymore." He vividly described the whole sordid situation in a special on porn
for, I believe, it was Showtime. Either Showtime or HBO. They interviewed Eric Edwards, who now does film editing work in the adult industry, Kerman, Herschel Savage
who appeared in the same segment as Kerman and talked about re-entering the industry at age 41 "because of cash flow problems". Those are the ones I know for certain were in the special.

I was so angry that there would be such a stigma against Kerman. Nobody black balled any of the people who paraded around nude in "Hair'. Beverly D'Angelo went on to have a rather large movie career. I guess if she had her ample boobs sucked, then she would have been banned too? Get real! WHat sort of standards are those?!

Several of the Golder Era crew can act. I used to get angry with the projectionist at the old Colony Theater in East St. Louis if the sound wasn't clear enough to hear the movies. And, I wanted to know WHEN the movie started, not that "continuous running" crap. Who wants to come in on a movie in the middle? It ruins the story line,any YES! those movies had a story line. Sometimes a very good one! To wit:

John Leslie, Lisa DeLeeuw, Juliet Anderson in "Dixie Ray, Hollywood Star." a superbly acted film done along the lines of a Mickey Spillane movie.

Veronica Hart's gripping performance in "A Scent of Heather". She plays the virginal Heather to the hilt. Her innocence is totally believable and when she gets going in her scene with her "slow, but well hung, Nephew, a dead man would get a hard on! Robert Kerman also gives a good acting performance as the chauffeur.

Robert Kerman in "Satisfyers of Alpha Blue" His tirade about old values & feelings being cast aside to the detriment of society could be in ANY off-Broadway play.

There are others, of course, but I'd bring those to a debate on whether porn actors could really act.

Veronica Hart was a fine actress, who with the right breaks could have made it in the regular movie business.

Georgina Spelvin,The Devil In Miss Jones is an excellent example of that.

Jamie Gillis,definitely after all he did do theater and had some mainstream acting experience as well and won a lot of awards in the Adult Entertainment Industry.

Wade Nichols,just watch his performance in Cater Stevens Jailbait and Punk Rock.Also played Detective Derek Mallory on the Daytime Soap Opera Edge of Night.

Jerry Butler,watch his performance in Cecil Howard's Snake Eyes,Star Angel and Chuck Vincent's In Love,he won Best Actor Award for all of those films.

Annette Haven,looks and acting ability.

Kelly Nichols,turn in excellent performances in Dixie Ray Hollywood Star and In Love.

Veronica Hart,great performance in Neon Nights.

You seem to be focusing on awards, acting certificate qualifications, brownie points, big star names, looks and well known films as the main reason for being a good actor.

How about just concentrating on the acting ability itself?

Alex Dane was very convincing to me - nice, easy style with an affinity for a quick retort. I'm sure you could have made it in mainstream with the right coaching.

Stormy Daniels, her acting skills can be witnessed in the first scene of "Space Nuts". And not to be outdone, Vanessa Blue, at least from what I saw in one Score-feature "Black and Stacked Xtra #3". There are some lines in it even.
