I ate some fruit earlier today

So, I'm fixin' that mistake right now

Never had this before till now. I got this at an American grocer

And put it on two hot dogs, of course each one has 2 frankfurts

And those other things pictured are Dim Sims, with heaps of soy sauce

I've never seen them before. Seem interesting. I will have to see if I can find some. Usually when I do onions on hotdogs they are either finely diced or carmelized. Sometimes I have been known to pick up some Vidalia onion relish at one of the local farmers markets.

Nice.

Although your rolls look a little dry and crumbly. Were they previously frozen? I have had this happen with rolls that were left in the freezer too long.

I only just found out that in the UK all the bread from the supermarkets is not baked, but steamed!
It seems that they got rid of, or never installed proper ovens and steamin' them is a much cheaper alternative.
Luckily there's an artisan baker in the next village from me, and his baking is the real deal.
I also found out that he supplies some of the restaurants in York, who pass it off as their own...

I love places like that. Luckily there are a few left around here.

I remember reading about that years ago. Something about the British wheat and the glutens in the flour. Don't really remember the details. This was quite a few years and many barrels worth of alcohol ago.

Today, inspired by E's posting, I am having some Chinese food (I had hotdogs yesterday). I am having fried dumplings, hot & sour soup with chicken, and Hunan pork (spicy).

Then I am going to need a nap.
