if you still have the source vhs, i would be willing to digitize it properly (it was capped with wrong framerate so it skips, and it just skipped on a particular move by sammi... ) and filter it out a bit to remove noise, sharpen it, because it seems to me content has a potential.
(it would be mpeg2 at high bitrate to preserve as much as possible)
