The poll question is really, when you get down to it, a very silly one. Getting married is a life-changing commitment. Long before your relationship gets anywhere near that point, whatever issues may arise based on past (or present) employment will have been thoroughly dealt with and put aside.

Of course it is. But it is something fun to play with and discuss the psyche of our fellow porn-o-holics. The question is almost as dumb as would you like to win the lottery, but through study it has been shown even multimillionaires ponder that very question. This was just something fun to ponder. I don't think anyone laid out a plan to go meet a porn star get them to fall in love with them and then marry them, because of this thread. If they did and they are serious about it they are psychotic.

While she wasn't a pornstar, my mom (yes my mom, ive posted about this in another post) was a P**ym**e of the month & even though she was once and done. Her first husband (my father) couldn't deal with it. My mom's told he held it over her head until she had enough one day. But she did remarry & did better the 2nd time around. I think it comes down to ego. Personal I was raised to be open minded & If you love someone, not just sexually... it shouldn't really matter what they've done.

I would marry a porn star. Kay Parker once gave an interview where she said that although she was involved in porn, that didn't mean that she couldn't be a good person too. She always came across to me as a classy woman, the kind you'd want to come home to. That is exactly the kind of woman that I love and would want to marry!

There may also come a time when a porn star would leave the profession and want to settle down. I saw a movie called "The Girl Next Door" (2004) where a porn star did just that and wanted to take a different career path. She was still a very cool person, but kind of revealed her humanity a little when she finally revealed that she wanted to pursuit different interests.

With Tanya de Vries without thinking twice. She's the woman of my dreams. Of course, I would need to know her as a person. But she's just perfect. She's 50 now. I wish I could meet her now and hope very much she's still wonderful.

I'm involved now with a woman who did porn when she was very young. Some four scenes. Should I judge her for what she did many, many years ago and now she extremely regrets? I don't think so,

I dated a girl who'd been a high end call girl. I thought I'd be OK with it, but I wasn't. She was fun, and it was interesting to see the world through different eyes-- we'd go into a restaurant and she'd spot all the girls who were "working" one way or another.

I didn't mind the sexual history bit-- that was interesting-- what I didn't like was the point of view that came with it. She had a view of the world "everyone's for sale, its just the price" which probably wasn't wrong, but wasn't fun either.
