A title-only search for "melissa", searching restricted to classic softcore & pornstars sections, includes this thread in its returned results.

As far as I can tell the word "melissa" is nowhere in that single post-thread, let alone any of the (one) post titles. Maybe it used to be merged with some other "melissa" content? Bit of an oddity.

Yes, it does look odd, but the thread previously had the titles "Melissa Bastardo" and "Melissa Bonsardo" respectively, so that looks like the reason. Our search engine works in mysterious ways

Yes it does, thanks. That would imply the thread title was mis-modified to its current form, i.e. leaving the "melissa" name still indexed for it, even though that word's no longer in that thread.

Not really, now that we are aware the issue with the form by which thread titles have been modified, as shown in Jenny's memo about it from last year. Presumably if the title of that thread were modified by the proper manner it would no longer turn up in the results of a title-only search for "melissa".
