I think that when you're growing up, you associate certain fashions of the attractive women of your day with your inner image of what's desirable in a wife or girlfriend or lover.
So if you grew up as a white American in the '20s and when puberty kicked in the women everyone admires had the features and clothes and haircut of, say, Clara Bow, then women with the bobbed hair and the kicky little shifts are probably going to be what turns you on. If you first became conscious of women in the late '50s, then you're probably going to be attracted to women who look and dress and wear their hair like the pretty girls in your school or like the beautiful movie stars and pinup idols of the era - you're going to be drawn to women who look like Bettie Page or Sophia Loren. Teenagers from the '60s gravitate toward slender hippie chicks with their long straight hair and unshaved this and that. If you became a teenager in the '80s/'90s you probably like big fluffed up disco hair and string bikinis, and your glances at that era's Playboys and the like programmed you to feel that hot girls shave their pudenda, so that's what turns you on. Conversely, someone who was an '80s/'90s teenager might find a photo of a woman with pubic hair is unappealing. And if you've been programmed to see, say, Bettie Page as a model of feminine desirability, the surgically-enhanced and clean shaven models from '90s and '00s Playboys might leave you cold, and the models and actresses of 21st Century porn business are actually actively a turn-off. Now every guy likes to look at a pretty woman, it lights up some instinctive circuitry in our brains and makes up happy for no rational reason, and that, my friends, is a positive good. But, of course, "pretty" means different things to different people. The reason I like this site is because it brings me photos that an old guy like me finds pretty, unlike everything offered by modern porno/erotica vendors. |

Modern porn is just too nasty and mean-spirited. The porn of the 70's and 80's and even the first half of the 90's was generally fun (except for the roughies) and playful. Sometimes the people fucking would actually seem to like each other and show some affection. The women had a wide variety of body types from boyish Sharon Mitchell to curvy Sue Nero and they had personalities.
Then along came Max Hardcore and fucked everything up. |

I think I like vintage and retro because it seems more sensuous, spontaneous and "organic", whereas the modern stuff has a tendency to be a touch clinical and predictable.

Not trying to say that 70s or 80s xxx is without flaws, but I love the real clothing the most in the first place. Nowadays female actors wear unrealistic skimpy clothes revealing all like their ass cheeks and are undressed way too fast. There was also a much better taste in sexy hot lingerie. I miss all the long silky night gowns and full sets of multi layered see-tru outfits. It seems rare to see them nowadays and when females are wearing lingerie it is more like a bra and panties combo, corset or a teddy.

And, it is more likely for vintage porn to have a story. It always gets me in the mood if I can see how male and female get to know each other, what caused the "spark" etc. Now stories are pretty much non-existent and if they have stories it is either a parody of softcore porn geared towards women. 1) For the technology: No damn eyefish, no damn pov, no damn special effects, no deformation of bodies!
2) Girls&dudes was very genuine. 3) Not too much gonzo garbage. |

honest vintage
It`s true. I hate the glory hole bukkake with fake cum. Many web sites dedicated to bukkake insert 10-20 links to such pages and whenever i see it - I close the whole window. The stupid guys who operate such shit sites should sink in such cum!!!!

I would heartily endorse what people have said about the subject of clothing and lingerie. One of the best things about retro porn movies was the sight of lovely, elegant, classy ladies like Annette Haven, Veronica Hart or Jessie St. James dressed in a formal, but very feminine, style in, say, a skirt and blouse, with layers beneath to be seductively revealed and unpeeled (sometimes a slip or something similar, and of course stockings and suspenders/garters were pretty much standard).
And of course the nightwear in that era (nightgowns, night dresses etc) was particularly appealing and seductive to the eye. Even better, they often left some of the clothing or lingerie on whilst "doing the deed"! There was an element of mystery, imagination and sensuality. Even the simpler and more garish fashions of the 1980s were nice, still feminine and sexy. I never tire of watching the young Ginger Lynn or Amber Lynn when they wore colourful figure-hugging dresses or mini-skirts. By the mid-80s, I guess that it was becoming less common to see "proper" stockings, or the lingerie/hosiery styles of the previous years, so in a strange way, to see one of the starlets of the time wearing those things was even more exciting. |

Re: Why do you like vintage?
For me some of these movies mean my childhood... well... my early teenage years.
My father had a nice collection of porn movies in the 80s and when I was home alone, I was wanking while watching these films. So hunting down exactly those titles which my father had then (now lost) is hunting for nostalgia of my teenage self... I have zero interest in today's porn anyway... almost no artistic value in them... |

I find women attractive that are from the golden age of the movies. I just love Marilyn Monroe, Sophia Loren, Mitzi Gaynor and Martha Hyer. There is just something about women from the 40's thru the 80's that are all natural viagra for me. I was born in the 60's so naturally I'm totally in love with Dawn Wells, Tina Louise and Nancy Kovack to mention only a few.
Don't get me wrong, I'm attracted to some of the women of today. Jennifer Lopez, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Ann. Can't go wrong with them either. If I had my choice, I would rather have a women who is hot a mature. Look at Lynda Carter, Cassandra Peterson and Christie Brinkley. All in their 60's and smokin hot. I'm 55 but I still love older women. Go figure!
