Low audio volume
Is there a way/player/program to increase the audio (volume)
The reason for this question is that i also like to understand what they are talking about, a specially in regular movies. If these movies are with Dutch audio (my language) than there is no problem, but if they are talking French, German or English than i need to concentrate on the audio to get every thing. For some movies i need to set the audio on maximum, but it is still to low understand what they are saying. Any suggestions? Thanks

I find KM Player significantly better for Audio
Pot player is said to be better again Anonym zu www.techsupportalert.com/content/top-freeware-picks-category-editors.htm#best-free-media-player One other 3rd party piece of software I've used occasionally when sound has been an issue dfx audio enhancer (it basically replaces your players equalizer from what I can gleam) The free version does have an annoying pop-up which keeps asking if you wish to upgrade peridically and then theres the fact you cant minimise the interface off the screen System Requirements: Windows 7 (32/64-bit), Vista (32-bit), or Windows XP (32-bit) Browsers supported: Internet Explorer 8+, Google Chrome, Firefox, and Opera See websites supported Desktop media players supported: iTunes, Spotify, Windows Media Player , Winamp, VLC media player, QuickTime Player, Pandora Desktop, Pandora Sidebar Gadget, RealPlayer, Rhapsody, JetAudio, GOM Player, MediaMonkey, foobar2000, BS.Player , Last.fm Scrobbler, and JRiver Media Center. source Anonym zu www.fxsound.com/dfx/download.php Last edited by buttsie; April 21st, 2012 at 04:28 AM.. VLC (free at cnet) produces the loudest sound I've heard. Granted KM is probabably just as loud but develops an echo at even the slightest speed reduction - sometimes a must have when viewing ....ahem ... adult videos.
At 80 percent VLC retains voice quality and the actor's speech is still bearable. Also, be sure it is not a hardware issue. There are generally 3 places to check: 1. The actual knobs on the speakers if it's a desk top or the volume up down keys on a laptop. 2. The sounds and audio settings in the control panel should be turned up 3. In the lower right corner of the screen there may also be a tiny speaker icon that can be dragged up to full volume |
