Default HatterTim’s greatest hits.

I would like to start a thread in memorium of Tim recognising all he did. How about we all choose our own 1 favourite picture or post from everything he put up on here and place them in a new thread as Hatter Tim greatest hits.

Here is mine to kick things off. Looking at images of this lady who was a double of one of my mums friends, was a part of my youth and until I stumbled across Tims scans of her, I always accepted that the images were consigned to a dim and distant memory. His narrative that accompanies these pictures sums up how much time and effort he put in. Thanks Tim. RIP

The next wife from Fiesta Readers' Wives Special # 15 (1995) is Linda of Rotherham...enjoy!

There's about 4 year's worth to do though...so this will take some time! Magazine section now finished, now I'm on to the individual model threads!

Default To me from him.

I was looking out some CDs today when I got this reminder of Tim's generosity.

Tim and I shared a love of the band XTC and I mentioned to him that I had not managed to get hold of this multi-disc release of various out-takes and demos. I think it was only two days later that he presented me with a 4 disc set, lovingly copied and with all the notes typed up.

As Tim used to say "you will know a man by his musical taste" - and I think this shows an awful lot more about the kind of man, and friend, he was.

I never knew that and was a massive XTC fan myself and an obsessive collector in the eighties/ninties.

I too am a massive XTC fan and own a guitar plectrum that Andy Partridge used to played Senses Working Overtime during a private jam with good friend of mine who was working for the music section of BBC4 as a journalist and producer. He Is also a musician himself and he was incredibly lucky to be able to meet and interview the great man and was cheeky enough to suggest the jam.
They are an incredibly talented bunch of musicians and songwriters. Check out some of the instrumental versions of their songs to hear the layering production and musical inventiveness
I was also a big fan of Hattertim RIP Tim gone too young
