Smile Clicking on image does not work

Hello,

I couldn't find anything already on the help section to this sudden problem that's just started.

On this site , I find that the usual double click of the left mouse button, no longer opens the thumbnail to the larger image. This was never a problem before.

I now have to right click, the menu opens , and I have to scroll up to click "open link" to get it to work?

Not the end of the world, but slow and annoying .

Can any one help please as to what may have happened?

Thank you

Maybe it's because you are double clicking the image, one click should open a thumbnail.

If you are universally blocking pop-ups, that would explain why the left click doesn't work but the right click does.

To exfarmer's point, either a single or double click should produce the same result and open the image, so I doubt that is the reason for your problem.

Is this absolutely the only site it happens with? I'd imagine that this is a problem with your browser rather than the site, so it would help if you said which one you were using.

Many thanks for your reply

Quite correct, one or two left clicks doesn't open the thumbnail

I use Internet Explorer

Quite right , I did set to block pop ups due to having so many but quite some time back and this problem only recently started to occur , this problem occurs on a few other sites too, but not all.

Many thanks

When ever my browser starts acting up I run the 3 programs below

The first 2 clean out the browser of unwanted extras liike browser hijackers

The 3rd kills malicious & hidden processes - as well as scanning for infections across multiple fronts - I wouldnt go deleting anything it returns though unless you know what your doing - its largely designed for the report to be posted on a forum and someone who knows how to interpret the results correctly guides you through what needs to be done.

- 2nd part - scan to determine where you may be infected
