Test cricket
Crowd attendances dipping in various countries Australia & England aside
so its dieing Sick of hearing this default comment Never mind the massive payments from TV which means a lot are still watching just not in person When the TV stations no longer bid for it then you can say its on death row The record of the homeside losing another series is off to a good start Why these 2 teams cant win on home soil against each other is an enigma Stumps 1st Test, Australia tour of South Africa at Durban, Mar 1-5 2018 Australia 351 South Africa 162 * (51.4 ov) Day 2: South Africa trail by 189 runs with 0 wickets remaining in the innings http://www.espncricinfo.com/series/1...h-africa-2018/ |

Test Cricket - Sledging
I say leave the mikes on for the full 90 overs
Then no one will be trying to take the high moral ground If players mention non-sponsors in an attempt to get them turned off fine them till they stop. Our cricketing heros - little more than cashed up brainless bogans when you hear them playing hard aggressive cricket. |

2nd Test, Australia tour of South Africa at Port Elizabeth, Mar 9-12 2018
Just when you thought it couldnt get any sillier than Warner v De Kock
up pops 11 wicket match winner bad boy Kagiso Rabada will not play any further part in the ongoing series against Australia after he was found guilty of a level 2 code of conduct offence. The incident took place on Friday when the South African fast bowler made physical contact with outgoing batsman Steven Smith. Rabada received three demerit points, taking his total to eight within 24 months. According to the ICC's rules, that activates a suspension of two Test matches. Rabada handed two-Test suspension http://www.espncricinfo.com/story/_/...est-suspension Australia 243 & 239 South Africa 382 & 102/4 (22.5 ov) South Africa won by 6 wickets |

Some England test careers could well end after this.

I admit not seeing any of the 'action' as of yet. (hope I can stay awake 'til 4pm fpr $ky)
But I understand that at once stage we were 27 for 9. What were we thinking ? Get in the friggin' record books for the lowest score and the rabbits piss on the party Yet the earlier comment have a ring of truth about them. Many players simply can not adapt from the limited over game to the requirements of 'Real' cricket. Tis not the attendance situation that will kill off 'Real' cricket |
