Do uploaders make money on VEF?

Yes youre right. 90% of vintage content here in vef can be easily found by google and free tubes.
So why should someone pay for premium on filehostings?
Maybe because of different quality like mkv , avi format or different resolution? I dont think so.

I think they would only pay for supporting the uploaders.
For the image uploads their hosts havent got affiliate program then only image hosts gets money from ads on them not uploaders.

From what I see only filejoker, depositfiles ,filefactory and k2s cc focuses on premium selling others arent...

Of course people make money from certain hosters, otherwise why upload to a crap hoster?
of course it could be that they have a perverse nature and like watching how long it takes for a free user to download? maybe!
But after years, I have grown up a bit, still pees me off though...but I understand nothings free and if a site stays up through cash cows, so be it.

Quality of uploads I would think. Tube sites are notoriously bad. Collectors want the best possible quality....so that's a good thing at VEF

It's getting harder. Sites like FileFactory and Fichier are becoming more and more unfriendly to free users

Fichier are as cheap as chips to become a premium member.

But, I hear you.

I try to give friendly downloads and one's that will also preserve my files.

It's a balance but us honest file hoster's who our just trying to preserve honest history and give very free files are losing a battle, so if you have a premium pass, why not upload to a prefere hoster?

Give some very hard working free hosters a break, who try their very best!

Yes maybe because of some quality resolutions and improved encodings might give a chance to prefer VEF rather than free tubes for vintage porn collectors.

And I want to also add that there is hard to buy premium from 1fichier because they dont accept credit cards.

there's a couple of tube sites that do put stuff up in comparitively high quality but they're certainly not the first ones anyone thinks of when they want to stream something.

if you're not willing to pay for a file host or to download then you have to be clever at balancing out your uploads to get round the first and willing to take what you can/be very patient/prepare to be disappointed to get round the latter.

So you mean the important thing is finding the good quality tubes and most people can't find those kind of free tubes and prefers to buy premium on filehostings to download on VEF right?
