Image Album

Hi I just joined this week, and I want to upload some images. I can't find an option under my User CP to Create or access my image album. Is this option still available, and do I have to have been on here and done a certain number of posts first please? I can't seem to get it going

I understand the thumbnails need to be 180 x 180 pixels

Is your image album on your pc?

If so then you'll have to upload them to an approved image host (remembering to choose the correct 'type' between 'adult' and 'family friendly' depending on the image type. If you get this wrong the image host will delete the images that you've made an incorrect choice for).

With 'imagebam', (I use their 'basic upload' option),

click on 'Browse'

navigate to the image to be uploaded and choose 'adult' or 'family friendly' in 'image type'

click 'upload'

once the page with a small image of it appears, left click on the 'BB Code' which begins with [URL=http://www.imagebam

to highlite it

then right click and 'copy' that URL

then 'paste' it into either the 'quick reply' box at the bottom of the thread you're posting in,

or click on the 'go advanced' button below the 'quick reply' box and paste into the big message box.

If adding other images repeat the process, remembering to get the the end of the previous image URL and press the space bar and the 'paste' the next image.

This creates a horizontal line of images rather than a vertical one and so saves a bit of space.

Though you will have to go below that line at some point.

Do this by pressing 'enter' before pasting the pic.

Thank you. Are we allowed to post our own videos and pics? We make our own retro pics and vids, although she's not a professional model.

Hmmm. There is a 'real wives and girlfriends' thread somewhere, but I'm not sure if they can only be pics from "readers' wives" sections of magazines. Hopefully a mod will see this thread and tell you asll you need to know.

If you're talking about posting pictures of your own wife or girlfriend, the thread Historian indicates is only for material produced 1996 or after; if produced 1995 or earlier, please use its newly-created counterpart. Those threads don't require previous publication as a 'Reader's Wife', in fact, there are better places for that.

If you're thinking of posting material of some other sort, the thread involved might be a different one, but the same date distinction will need to be observed regarding Modern and Vintage.

Those posts look fine to me - that isn't actually my section, but the mods there would have alerted you by now if you were doing something wrong.

If I were to make a criticism, it would be that maybe the thumbnails could be larger - choose the 180x180 option when uploading.
